Professional and community background
Grace Tsang is a Certified Financial Planner and business owner who has lived in Richmond with her husband and two adult children since 1993. She immigrated to Canada from Hong Kong with her parents in 1975.
Grace was elected to the Richmond Board of Education for three consecutive terms from 2005 to 2014 and served as Vice-Chair for one year. She is also a freelance news commentator for CHMB AM1320 and Fairchild Radio AM1470.
A dedicated community volunteer, Grace has held numerous leadership and advisory roles. She served as President of the Rotary Club of Richmond Sunset from 2017 to 2018 and has also served as Youth Director and Membership Chair. From 2023 to 2026, she served as Friendship Exchange Chair for Rotary District 5040.
Grace is an advisor to the Richmond Rotaract Club and previously served as District Interact Director for Rotary District 5040. Her community involvement has also included the Mount Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation, Richmond Youth Concert Band, BCIT Alumni Association, Rick Hansen Wheels in Motion Committee, and parent advisory councils at both elementary and secondary schools.
With extensive experience in education governance, financial planning, media commentary and community service, Grace is committed to responsible leadership, stronger schools and a better Richmond.
