A three-term Richmond school trustee, Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers and former practising lawyer in the Philippines, Rod immigrated to Canada in 1980. With nearly 40 years of community leadership, he advocates for good governance and prudent financial management, advances financial literacy and parent engagement, and continues to focus on drug awareness, child poverty and student empowerment.
